ABOUT THE AUTHOR K Venugopal

Prof. K. Venugopal, B.E., M.Sc. (Engg.), F.I.S.E., M.I.S.T.E., is Professor of Mechanical Engineering (Retd.), Government College of Technology, Coimbatore. He had been on the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in the Department of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu over a period of 35 years. He is a recipient of The Best Citizen of India award from the International Publishing House, New Delhi. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Standards Engineers of the B.I.S. and Life Member of I.S.T.E. He has also authored (i) Engineering Drawing + AutoCAD, (ii) Engineering Drawing, (iii) Engineering Drawing (JNTU), (iv) Engineering Graphics (Polytechnic Colleges) and (v) Basic Civil and Mechanical Engineering.

Dr. V. Prabhu Raja, is Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. He obtained his B.E. degree from Government College of Technology and M.E. and Ph.D. from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He also served as a Senior Engineer in the Engineering Research Centre, TATA Motors, Maharashtra. He is a Member of the Institution of Engineers and Indian Society for Technical Education.
