Anita Chatterjee, a seasoned teacher and a renowned environmental activist did her bachelor and master's degree in botany, both in first division. she has an excellent record of educational achievements and is a winner of many prestigious awards for her academic excellence. As an environmental activist she is associated with a number of NGOs working for environmental protection and sustainable development. She has attended several national and international seminars and participated in discussions and debates. As a prolific writer she has contributed many learned articles in various journals and also authored a number of books on botany. She is also a creative writer and poet. Her poems and short stories have been published in India and abroad.
