ABOUT THE AUTHOR Kalpna Gupta

Dr. Mrs. Kalpna Gupta did her B.A. & M.A. in House hold Art (Home Science) from Institute and Ph.D from Banaras Hindu University. She had a brilliant academic career with through out first class and first position in University at undergraduate and post Graduation level. She obtained Gold & Silver Medal in M.A. House hold Art (Home Science). From 1982, Dr. Kalpna has been closely associated with the teaching line. She has the satisfying experience of teaching at well revered institutions like Banasthali Vidyapeeth Rajasthan, Sanatan Dharam P.G. College, Mazaffanagar Varanasi (associated with B.H.U.) and finally is now placed as Associated Professor (Reader ) in H.Sc. (Child Development) Mahila Mahavidyalaya, B.H.U., Varanasi. Dr. Kalpana Gupta specializes in Child Development and Home Management. She has presented papers both in National and International Seminars and Conferences. She has a vital interest in social work and activities related with welfare of Women and Children.
