The book ‘Advanced pathology and treatment of diseases of poultry’ has been prepared to cater to the needs of students of the veterinary colleges, diagnosticians engaged in disease investigation and practicing veterinarians in different states of this country. The syllabi prevalent in different agricultural universities have been kept in view in preparing the manuscript of this book. Sincere efforts have been made to insert all pertinent pathological changes in different poultry diseases with the object of making this book of high value to the students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the veterinary colleges. More and more stress has been laid on the information in relation to signs, gross and microscopic lesions of avian diseases prevalent in poultry flock for their diagnosis.

Dr. C D N Singh, a former University Professor cum-Chairman, Department of Pathology, Bihar Veterinary College, Patna was a very popular teachers amongst the students. He was chosen to be biographed in Marqui’s Who’s who in the world (15th edition for his achievements and research papers published in Indian and Foreign Veterinary Journals. A recent publication of Dr. Singh under the title ‘Advanced Pathology and Treatment of Diseases of Poultry has been widely acclaimed by the students and the teachers in the Veterinary Colleges.

S.D. Singh is Senior Faculty Member at Lalit Narayan Mishra Institute of Economic Development & Social Change, Patna. He has worked in several research and training assignments for 10 years in the areas of organizational behaviour, labour economics and human resources management. He has attended many national conferences & seminars and presented paper in them. His work focuses on marketing and the rise of India as an economic force.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR S.P. Sharma
S.P. Sharma (b. 1943), after his graduation, decided to become a writer and began to learn the art of literature under active guidance of Justice G.D. Khosla. In 1970 he shifted to Dr. Mulk Raj Anand upon whose inspirations he decided to become the kind of a socio-legal engineer to become a crusader for eradication of poverty through law as an instrument of social change which brought him back to the temples of learning to secure a law degree from the University of Delhi in 1975 with special interests in legal aid and law and poverty. Besides being regular contributor to India News and feature alliance, Mr. Sharma has written articles and short stories for various news papers and magazines and he has written five auto-biographical novels summing up his experiences at the Bar, out of which the first one THE CANDLE LIGHT has been published. Mr. Sharma has also written five book on law including the Indian Legal System during the process of his involvement in the Aggrieved Ladies Legal Aid Home and Social Engineering Litigation Forum besides a book named the New Era on Political Affairs of The Country and two collections of short stories and anecdotes.
