An efficient agricultural marketing system is now accepted as an important component of overall agricultural development in India. Based on primary survey and extensive data of three tier marketing system, especially exploitation of small and marginal farmers through middlemen. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Md. Minhajul Hoda

Dr. Md. Minhajul Hoda is Post Doctoral fellow in the department of Geography. He completed his doctoral degree form the same department in the year 2005. He has published a number of research papers on marketing of agricultural products and rural marketing system I national and international journals. He has attended and presented various research paper sin the national conferences. He was associated, as Senior research fellow with a Indian major research project on the topic “Marketing behaviour of Livestock and its effects on Diversification of Agricultural” during 2002 to 2004.
