Alternative Education

Responding to the serious challenges and rapid transformations, our education inevitably has to change fundamentally towards alternative education paradigm in order to pursue a new future for our new generations as well as our society. This paradigm aims to provide unlimited opportunities for every student and teacher to maximize their potential and performance in borderless learning and teaching. The alternative education for learning will be nationally strategic for each society’s long-term development. The implications of alternative education requires teachers to change their roles and teaching styles from teacher-centred to student-centred in the educational process and the curriculum to be changed from the subject knowledge-based to intelligence-based in a practical way. Educational reforms focus on paradigm shift in learning and teaching with aims to maximize opportunities for student’s effective life-long learning and their pursuit of a new future in the new century.
