ABOUT THE AUTHOR B.R. Shome
Dr. B.R. Shome is at present principal Scientist at PD ADMAS Hebbal, Bangalore. He did his BVSc&AH from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Mohanpur, Nadia West Bengal, MVSc from College of Veterinary Science, University of Agricultural Scviences, Bangalore and PhD from Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Barreilly UP. He has also got a number of awards for his professional excellence.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR H Rahman
Dr. H. Rahman did his M.V.Sc, from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, PhD from GB Pant Univ. Agril, Tech., Pantnagar and Post-Doc from Robert Koch Institute, Germany. He is currently holding the post of Director, Project Directorate on Animal Disease Monitoring and Surveillance, Banglore. He has earlier worked as joint Director, ICAR Research complex for NEH Region, Gangtok, Head of Division, IVRI, Izatnagar. Veterinary microbiology, public health and molecular biotechnology are the major areas of his specialization. Dr. Rahman is a recipient of many awards and honors, has more than 160 publications including books, research papers, bulletins, etc.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR S.S. Patil
Dr. S.S. Patil did his MVSc., Ph.D from IVRI, Izatnagar. He is currently holding the past of Scientist in PD ADMAS, Bangalore. He has visited OIE laboratory for Rabies at Melzville, France. Currently, he is Working on descriptive and spatial epidemiology of animal diseases india.
