Anti dumping, Countervailing and Safeguard Measures in Multilateral Trade Regime

Dr. Ved Prakash has done his Doctorate on the subject from Department of Business Economics, Delhi University South Campus. He did M.A. in Economics from Delhi School of Economics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi in 1979. Dr. Ved Prakash started his career as Lecturer in Economics in Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi in 1982. He joined Indian Trade Service in the Ministry of commerce, Government of India in 1986. he worked in various capacities in the Directorate General of foreign Trade responsible for formulation and implementation of variuos Export Promotion Schemes. In 1997 he joined Trade Policy Division in the Department of Commerce where he worked on the implementation and other issues relating to WTO Agreements on Anti-dumping, Countervailing and Safeguard Measures. in 1999 he joined Directorate General of Anti-dumping and Allied Duties and was assigned the job of conducting anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigations. He has worked as Director in the Department of Commerce, Government of India.
