ABOUT THE AUTHOR Akbar Husain

Akbar Husain is Professor and Chairman, Department of Psychology at the Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He has obtained Ph.D. Degree in Psychology from the same University in 1981. He has successfully supervised 10 M.Phil dissertations and 18 Ph.D. theses. He is author/co-author of ten books and 125 research articles/papers. Prof. Husain has attended several National and International Conferences and Seminars. He has standardized numerous psychological tests and completed three research projects. He is Life Member and Annual Member of various National and International Associations. He served as Council Member, Regional Convenor, Regional President and Associate Secretary in the Indian Academy of Applied Psychology. At present he is an editor of the JIAAP. His current areas of research are: Stress and Health, Applied Gerontology, Spiritual Psychology and Positive Psychology.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Md. H. Rahman Khan

Md. H. Rahman Khan obtained Master's degree in psychology with gold medal from Ranchi University in 1970 and Ph.D. degree from Magadh University, Bodh Gaya in 1978. He worked as a lecturer of psychology in Ranchi College for a brief period (1971-72) and then joined the newly established Department of Psychology, Magadh University, Bodh Gaya as a lecturer in 1972 where he is currently a University Professor of Psychology (since 1998) and Head of the Department from August, 2005.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Shamshad Hussain

Shamshad Hussain Professor Emeritus, is a Vice-Chancellor of Magadh University, Bodh Gaya since 2003. He held a numbers of positions like Chairman, Bihar State University Service Commission, Vice-Chancellor, Nalanda Open University, Professor and Head, Department of Psychology, director, Directorate of Distance Education, and Director Institute of Psychological Research and Service, Patna University, Patna, (Bihar). He has published about 150 research papers and articles, 6 books and 2 psychological tests.
