Arunachal Pradesh, literally meaning the "Land of the Rising Sun" occupies important position in India due to its strategic location. Earlier known as NEFA, this mountainous states endowed with rich fauna and flora and inhabited by different tribal groups caught the attention of Government of India only after Chinese invasion in 1962. Since then development efforts are made on large scale, yet industrially the state is backward. The present book relates the journey of Arunachal from past to the present.
