Atomic and Nuclear Physics and Molecular Spectroscopy

Dr. J D Dubey: Head Department of Physics of Vinobha Bhave University, Hazaribag.  He has been teaching Physics at Ranchi and V.B. Universities for more than 35 years.  He graduated from St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi with Honours in Physics and obtained his M.Sc., B. Ed., and Ph. D. in Theoritical Band-Structure Calculation, from Ranchi University, Ranchi.  The field of research he pursued further and many students obtained their Ph. D. degrees in this field under his supervision.  His other interests in research include surface Physics, Astronomy and Astrophysics and Strongly Related Systems.  He has got research papers published in internationally reputed journals like Physica Status Solidi, Indian Journal of Physics and many other journals and standard reference books like Semi conductor Materials, Solid State Physics series etc.  He is actively associated with national physics societies like IAPT, IPS and IPA and has been on the advisory boards of international conferences and journals.
