The book starts with the vector analysis which is going to be helpful to understand mathematical applications in electricity and magnetism. Various chapters also elaborately discuss the important portions of electricity and magnetism. Electric charges and fields have been given due importance in the second chapter of the book. Electric potential as well as electric fields in material space have been placed in the middle portion of the book. Boundary value problems pertaining to electro-magnetism is covered widely in the last very portion of the book.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR J D Dubey
Dr. J D Dubey: Head Department of Physics of Vinobha Bhave University, Hazaribag. He has been teaching Physics at Ranchi and V.B. Universities for more than 35 years. He graduated from St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi with Honours in Physics and obtained his M.Sc., B. Ed., and Ph. D. in Theoritical Band-Structure Calculation, from Ranchi University, Ranchi. The field of research he pursued further and many students obtained their Ph. D. degrees in this field under his supervision. His other interests in research include surface Physics, Astronomy and Astrophysics and Strongly Related Systems. He has got research papers published in internationally reputed journals like Physica Status Solidi, Indian Journal of Physics and many other journals and standard reference books like Semi conductor Materials, Solid State Physics series etc. He is actively associated with national physics societies like IAPT, IPS and IPA and has been on the advisory boards of international conferences and journals.

Raj K Tiwari: born in a village in Gorakhpur District of Uttar Pradesh. He has a very brilliant academic career and completed his graduation and post-graduation with first class from Gorakhpur University.After completing his M.Sc., he is pursuing for IAS and also taking classes in very prestigious engineering coaching institutes at Delhi for Physics and Mathematics.He has edited several book on these subjects and published several papers.
