ABOUT THE AUTHOR Sriram Sridhar

Sriram Sridhar (b. 1952) is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Science. He has a doctorate in Microbiology and his work in the area of biomedicals has been noticed by several leading scientists. He is particularly remembered for his 1981 paper on "Equine Liver Extract and Amelioration of Muscular dystrophy in Humans" presented at the Annual Science-Across-Frontiers Seminar at the University of Liege. He has over two dozen acclaimed papers to his credit. He currently heads the Research and Development department of a pharmaceutical multinational in Mumbai.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Subrata Bhattacharjee

Subrata Bhattacharjee hold's Master's degree in Veterinary Science from the University of Nagpur and studied for his doctoral qualification in Zoology from the University of Delhi. His dissertation on animal Diseases and Quarantine Practices: Studies of Infected Specimen from South-East Asia was highly commended in academic circles. For over twelve years he has been associated with a research institute for parasite carriers and animal diseases.
