ABOUT THE AUTHOR Randhir Pratap Singh

Dr. Randhir Pratap Singh, Reader in the Department of English and Modern European Languages, Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi, has been teaching both Undergraduate and Postgraduate classes for the last twenty-one years. An alumnus of the Universities of Gorakhpur and Lucknow, he obtained his Ph.D. degree from Gorakhpur University. His areas of academic interest are British and Indian English fiction. His next book on the novels of Bapsi Sidhwa is coming out shortly.
