He obtained his Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Prescott University, London, U.K. for his thesis ?Investigation on The Material Movement in a helical vibratory conveyor (Bowl Feeder)?. He has presented many technical papers in National/ International conferences. He has also authored four Engineering books.
