The theme "Beyond Librarianship: Creativity, Innovation and Discovery" has been well accepted by the professionals, contributions were received from different parts of the country form working librarians, professors, scientists and other information professionals. the identified sub-themes are perfectly matched with the main theme of this conferenc. It is evident that the contributions were the extract of the young and experience professionals on different contexts from their respective practical and theoretical approach.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR B S Kademani
Dr. B.S. Kademani started his career in librarianship from Manglore University and presently he is working in Scientific Information Division of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai as Scientific Officer-F since 1988. He visited Germany and Austria as an International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Fellow. He has over 90 research papers in national/ international journals and edited four books. Presently, he is the Vice Chairman, Bombay Science Librarians' Association (BOSLA). He also served as Standing Committee Member of IFLA-Science & Technology Libraries Section from India for the term 2005-2009.
