ABOUT THE AUTHOR Ashok K Choudhury

Dr. Ashok K. Choudhury, associated with India's National Academy of Letters, is the first Indian scholar to do doctoral research on the role of National Academies in promoting art, literature and culture. Having brilliant academic records with both Master's degree and Bachelor's degree and securing first position is presently doing his postdoctoral research on the Thematical Varieties of Post-Independent Oriya Literature. Author of seven books and more than eighty articles based on erudite research, Dr. Choudhury was invited to join the team of scholars of A Critical Inventory of Ramayan Studies in the world, a joint project of Sahitya Akademi and Union Academic International of Bruxelles, Belgium. Recipient of Banshidhar Acharya Memorial Gold Medal, Dr. Choudhury is also the Visiting Faculty of Aggarwal college, (M.D. University, Rohtak), Ballabhgarh, Haryana.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Biswajit Sinha

Biswajit Sinha was born in 1961. He holds Master's degree in two disciplines with professional training in 'Acting' from the Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts, New Delhi. Stepped out of a professional career in theatre to pursue research works in the genre, Sri Biswajit Sinha is, today, an one-man mission encyclopaedist to whom goes the credit to bringout India's first encyclopaedic series on Indian Theatre, his singular contribution to the field. Sri Sinha holda Master's degree in two disciplines with professional training in 'Acting' from the Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts, New Delhi. He had a brief stint with IPTA's 'Living Theatre' directing few plays for this group Theatre' and as Repertory Artist of 'Brechtian Mirror'.
