Amarjit Singh is a Reader in the Department of History at Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. His areas of interest are Modern Indian History, Muslim Politics and Partition of India and Muslim Society and Politics of Colonial Punjab. His Publication Include Punjab Divided: Politics of the Muslim League and Partition 1935-1947, (New Delhi-2001).
