ABOUT THE AUTHOR Maddula R. Reddy

Maddula R. Reddy, MVSc., PhD., MACVS, is Scientist at Project Directorate on Poultry, Indian Council of Agricultural research, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. (India.) Dr Reddy received his BVSc &AH from Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University in 1987 and his MVSc (Avian Diseases_ from Indian Veterinary Research Institute in 1990. Awarded a Melbourne International research Scholarship to study at the Melbourne University. Australia, dr. eddy obtained his PhD from this university in 2005. He served as a veterinary Assistant Surgeon, in the department of Animal Husbandry, Andhra Pradesh during 2001-2003. His current research interests in avian health avian disease diagnostics, avian viral tumors, immunomodulation and disease control particularly in pure line chickens. Dr. Reddy is a member of the Australian College of veterinary Scientists (MACVS) by examination in Avian Health (Poultry) in 2004 and a life member of Indian Association of veterinary Pathologists and Indian Poultry Science Association. He has published more than 20 referred papers and 40 technical articles in industry magazines and presented his research findings in national and international conferences.
