Brahmanas of South India

Dr. Nagendra Rao, the editor of this book, is teaching at Goa University, Goa. He took his M.A. and M.Phil from Mangalore University. After joining Goa University in 1996, he obtained Ph.D in the year 2002 for his Thesis entitled "Craft Production and Trade in South Kanara: A.D. 1000-1763" submitted to Goa University. In the same year, he was honoured with appointment as Research Fellow, International Noble Academy, Canada. He is the author of Brahmanas of South India (Kalpaz Publications, New Delhi, 2004). Reseaerch articles of Dr. Rao have been published in peer reviewed national and international journals.
