ABOUT THE AUTHOR M K Shukla

Dr. M.K. Shukla (MVSC, NET) is working as assistant professor, Deptt of Animal Reproduction, Gyanecology & Obstetrics, College of veterinary science, sardar Krishi nagar-dantiwada Agricultural university (SDAU), sardar Krishi Nagar, Banaskantha, Gujarat. He has been a part of faculty at Govind ballabh Pant university of Agriculture and technology, Pantnagar. He has also been associated with prestigious organizations like Animal breeding research Organizations and National dairy development Board and has undertaken quality research in the field of semen biology, embryo transfer technology and management of bovine and bubaline infertility. He is one of the few young scientists of India who have extensive in diverse spheres of animal reproduction i.e. Andrology, Gynaecology and reproductive Biotechnologies. More than 50 publications in national and international journals and magazines at such a young age is itself a proof of his caliber. He has qualified several examinations/competitions organized by UPSC. ICAR and state universities.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Rakesh Kumar Shukla

An alumnus of pantnagar, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Shukla (MVSc, MIAVPHS, MIAZWV) has about four years experience in teaching, research and extension in poultry production, management and medicine at India's foremost agricultural university G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and technology, Pantnagar. He was also associated with instructional poultry Farm (IPF), GBPUAT Pantnagar and rejuvenated this oldest and most diversified poultry farm of Uttaranchal in all aspects of poultry production and farm administration. He was instrumental in development of poultry software for IPF, at present, he is imparting teaching/extension at College of veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and technology, Kumarganj (Faizabad). He has performed several thousands post-mortem examinations of poultry. He was involved in turkey and guinea fowl production, domestication and extension in Uttaranchal. He has trained diversified groups of entrepreneurs, farmers, students and veterinaries in thousands. He has more than three-dozen publications in national and international journals to his credit. He is life member of professional societies across the globe. He has been chairman, Veterinary Society, Pantnagar and General Secretary, P.G. Society, Pantnagar.
