ABOUT THE AUTHOR Bhaskar Anand

Bhaskar Anand (b. 1952) is a renowned scholar and seasoned teacher of history. He earned his Masters' degree in History from Agra University with specialisation in religious history of India. Later he was awarded his doctoral degree from Gorakhpur University. He started his teaching career as a Lecturer in UP Higher Education System and taught the subject for over three decades in different Govt. P.G. Colleges till his retirement. He visited Nairobi and Ethiopia on teaching assignment. He has profusely written on religious history of India and has attended many national/ international seminars.
