ABOUT THE AUTHOR Britta Das

Britta Das was born in Germany in 1971, and at the age of thirteen she moved with her family to Canada. In 1994 she completed a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in London, Ontario, then worked and travelled around Australia and South-east Area. She volunteered with VSO to work in Bhutan after becoming enchanted by this rarely visited kingdom on a short trip there. During her volunteer year she met her future husband Bikul, and they now live in Canada with their two young daughters. Buttertea at Sunrise is Britta Das's first book and has also been published in Germany and Netherlands.
