ABOUT THE AUTHOR Derek O'Brien

Derek Oâ€™Brien was born in Kolkata. He went to St Xavierâ€™s Collegiate School in the city and St Columbaâ€™s School in New Delhi. After graduating in English from Scottish Church College, Kolkata, he began his professional career as a journalist but soon shifted to advertising. Today, he is the host of the longest-running knowledge gameshow on Indian television, The Cadbury Bournvita Quiz Contest. Derek Oâ€™Brien won the award for best anchorâ€“Game/Quiz Show at the Hero Honda Indian Television Academy Awards 2003.
