Personality of a child is consequence of acquisition, assimilation and adaptation of cultural norms and values of one’s own groups through social interaction, social learning and socialization process. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Shalini Saxena Mital

Born in 1968 in U.P. Dr. Shalini Saxena Mital received her M.Sc. degree in Human development from Rajasthan University, Jaipur in first division and Ph.D. degree from Rohilkhand university. She has been continuously teaching under-graduate and post-graduate classes in Home-Science (Human Development) in Banasthali Vidyapith (Deemed University) Banasthali since August 1993. She has been also guiding dissertation and research at M.Sc. and Ph.D. levels. She has completed one major research project and one minor research project funded by U.G.C. Besides, she has [published more than a dozen research papers in Academic Journals of repute attended a number of national and International Conferences and Seminars and presented therein her research paper. Presently she is also engaged in a Major research Project entitled: “Human Migration and its Emerging trends in Jaipur: A study of Socio-Psycho and Economic Implications”.
