ABOUT THE AUTHOR N.D.R. Chandra

Dr. N.D.R. Chandra is Professor in the Department of English, Nagaland Central University, Kohima. He obtained his M.A. in English Literature from Pt. Ravishankar University, Raipur; P.G.D.T.E. From C.I.E.F.L. Hyderabad; M. Phil. from Dr. H.S. Gaur University, Sagar and Ph.D. from G.G.D. Universitym Bilaspur. He is an elected member of the Governing Council of Indo-American Centre for International Studies, Hyderabad, and is an Associate of the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, Shimla. He has published several research papers on English Language Teaching and Literary Theory and Criticism. He has authored Literary Theory and the New Critics, Literary Terms in Poetry. Literary Terms in Drama, Theatre & Cinema and Literary Terms in Fiction and Prose (Trio with Dr. A.J. Sebastian). He has edited Modern Literary Criticism: Theory & Practice (Vol. I & II), Contemporary Literary Criticism: Theory & Practice (Vol. I & II), Modern Indianj Writinjg in English: Critical Perceptions, Chhattisgarh Towards the Path of Development and The Flow of Soul.
