ABOUT THE AUTHOR D. Chenna Reddy

Dr. Dharmavaram Chenna Reddy was born in Kandukur village of Anantapur District of Andhra Pradesh.  He obtained M.A., M.Com., M.Ed., M.L., Ph.D., PGDCA from different Universities.  Dr. Reddy joined in the University service at Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantpur, Andhra Pradesh and at present he is heading the department of Education and chairman, Board of Studies in Education, Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantpur.  He is associated with Social service Organizations like Rotary Club, Non Governmental Organizations.  He is instrument in organizing Adult Literacy centers, Continuing education for the drop outs in the rural areas.  He organized so many health camps in rural areas.  He started a number of self-help groups in the rural areas for their economic upliftment through non governmental organization.  Dr. Reddy participated several times in National and International Seminars and conferences and presented research papers.  He published number of articles in different reputed Journals.  He produced 9 Ph.D.s and 15 M.Phil.s. He is having wide network with the professionals in the field of education for the eradication of illiteracy and in improving the quality of education in the society in particular.
