Shailendra Singh did B.Sc. with Zoology and Chemistry & M.Sc. with Zoology from University of Allahabad. In additional he took Post-Graduate diploma in Environmental Science which is equivalent to M.Sc. Ecology from Purvanchal University, U.P. hold second ranking inUniversity Merit List. His is senior research scholar for Ph.D. degree in University of Allahabad, and published various research paper in Indian Science Journals. He is also lecturer in Handia P.G. Degree College, U.P. He is secretary of Ethological Society of Allahabad University. He has many other books to his credit. He also too MBA degree from Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi.
