Dr. Poonam Mittal graduated with Honours in Economics from Miranda House, Delhi University, She topped her class in M.A. from Jamia Millia Islamia and subsequently completed her Ph.D. Currently she is a reader in B.R. Ambedkar College, Delhi University.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Shahid Ashraf

Shahid Ashraf (b. 1959) is a brilliant product of the Aligarh Muslim University securing first position in first class in Econimics and is recipient of the University Gold Medal. He took his M.Phil. Degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. His specialization is in industrial and regional economics. Currently he is on the faculty of the Aligarh Muslim University and teaches Econometrics and Indian Economy to post-graduate classes. He has been selected for admission to Cornell University, U.S.A. towards fulfillment of his Ph.D. degree. A Member of several academic organizations, he has participated in various seminars and conferences and is presently working on Investment Behaviour in Manufacturing Sector
