ABOUT THE AUTHOR Aditya Sengupta

Aditya Sengupta, an eminent scholar of journalism and mass communication, is having over fifteen years of professional experience. He teaches courses related to mass media and public relations at the university level. He received his M.A. in journalism and his B.A. in political science. Prior to moving in to the academic career, he was worked as a print and broadcast journalist and has covered wars and revolutions, both civil and technological, and also written learned features and columns for press. He has won numerous awards as a journalist and speaks regularly at professional forums on various journalism-related topics. He also provides media training for executives, journalists, and other professionals.
