ABOUT THE AUTHOR Saraswati Chennakesavan
Sarasvati Chennakesvan (1918-98) retired as Professor and Head of the Post-Graduate Department of Philosophy, Sri Venkatewwara University, Tirupati. The major field of her interest has been comparative philosophy and problems of epistemology. Her other important works are The Concept of Mind in Indian Philosophy and Perception.
