The Book entitled 'Consumer Protection Through Regulation of Unfair Trade Practices' is an attempt inter-alia to ascertain the extent of the prevalence of Unfair Trade Practices (UTP); examine the consumers attitudes and experiences relating to their deception by manufacturers and dealers through various UTP; identify the possible reasons or factors which prevent or discourage consumers from making complaints or taking suitable action against manufactures or dealers indulging in UTPs; measures the consumers attitudes relating to the effectiveness of various consumer grievances redressal agencies.
