ABOUT THE AUTHOR P D Gupta

Dr. P.D. Gupta was associated with many prestigious institutions in India and abroad as a teacher and researcher. He has served at the Department of surgery. University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and CCMB, Hyderabad. Currently he is Research Advisor /Visiting Professor of Manipal University, Manipal and BITS, Pilani. He has received Best Invention and Life Time Achievement Awards. He has worked on born blind rat model and published many papers on Chronobiology and Effects of light and dark periods on rhythms in Brain Research and other prestigious journals.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR S.K. Gupta

Dr. S.K. Gupta (b. 1945) passed M.Sc. (Physics) 1967, M.Ed. in 1971 and obtained Ph.D. Degree in Education in 1974 – all from the University of Kurukshetra. A senior University teacher having nearly two decades of professional standing, he is on the Panel of Experts for Reviewing books for the reputed Journals. A prolific writer, he has five well acclaimed scholarly books to his credit including Guidance an Counselling in Indian Education (1985), Exploring Mental Abilities for Science Talent (1990). Currently Dr. gupta is a Reader in Education at the North Eastern Hill University, Nagaland Campus, Kohima.
