"The present volume contain descriptions of 314 species of copepods known so far as parasites of marine fishes of our waters. A host specific list has also been given at the end which will be useful. The author has been able to examine most of the type material of species included here, both from Indian and foreign repositories. Wherever the taxonomy of a particular was in confusion he has clarified the same. Almost all the illustrations have been executed by him which is creditable".
