ABOUT THE AUTHOR N.S. Dash

Niladri Sekhar Dash received MA and Ph. D. in Linguistics from the University of Calcutta, Kolkata; ANLP from IIT, Kanpur, and c, C++ from RCC, Jadavpur. From 1992, he is working intensively on corpus linguistic with reference to the corpora in Indian LAUNGUAGES. He also specializes in lexicography, and lexical semantics. He has more than 25 research papers on various national and international journals. He works in the ASI@IT&C project of the European Commission for the Promotion of Language technology in South Asian region. He often visits Indian universities and institutes to teach corpus linguistics. He also acts as a Book Reviewer for the LiguistList and the Language.
