The present text has been designed a referral and introductory manual for students of geography. Enabling them to get acquainted with the theories, practices and processes relevant to the field of geography, the book seeks to give readers a broad Insight into the ways in which Cultural Geography plays a role in understanding the world. In addition, it acquaints readers with the current trends and developments within cultural geography, and incorporates critical comments from experts which enable them to gain greater Knowledge into the field.

J.K. Verma, a renowned Teacher of geography, obtained his M.A. and Ph.D. in geography. He is actively engaged in Teaching and Research in various field of Geography for over two decades. Having a high degree of commitment to teaching and research, he has the ability to simplify the difficult concepts of geography and to analyze enormous facts in a cogent way. He has guided many research scholars at doctorate and post doctorate level. Dr. Verma has guided many research scholars at doctorate and post-doctorate level. He has organized and participated in many national and international seminars and conferences on thrust areas of geography. He has also contributed research papers on economic themes, especially human geography.
