Dare To Be Free, is the story of the conflict that developed during the transitional phase from feudal system to democracy in Hadothi Anchal, Rajasthan. The protagonist Chemeli is sired by a Thakur but borne by a concubine. This girl with zeal and exemplary courage takes on the rulers and the society single handedly. How she breaks all the shackles and comes out into the open sky to fly higher, is the theme of this bold but sensitive story. With its sharp observation, deft portrayal and experience it becomes a vertible social history of a particular region in Rajasthan.
