Data Structure provides a practical introduction to data structures and algorithms from the viewpoint of abstract thinking and problem solving, as well as the use of C++ .The most unique aspect of this text is the clear separation of the interface and implementation. C++ allows the programmer to write the interface and implementation separately, to place them in separate files and compile separately, and to hide the implementation details. This separation of interface and implementation is known, forcing the reader to think about the various data structures (eg., hash tables are written well before the hash stable id implemented). This book is a complete text book for data structure course in undergraduate and advanced studies.

Pavitar Parkash Singh is working as Assistant Professor in Punjab College of Technical Education, Ludhiana. He obtained his M.Sc. from Punjabi University, Patiala and Masters in Business Administration from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. He graduated in Education also from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. He has great interest in science education, environment management and computer application. He has six years of working experience. Presently he is pursuing his Ph.D. He has authored and presented many research papers in national and international seminars and is providing consultancy to various industrial houses on the different projects. Recently, he participated and presented a paper in SAMF Conference, A SAARC Nations Organisation, held in Pakistan.

Samarjeet kaur is B.Sc. in Chemistry from Mumbai University and Post-graduate in Computer Science from M.D. University and post-graduate in Computer science from M.D. University. Rohtak. She has also done diploma in programming in computer networks. She has an experience of approx. seven years in teaching computer subjects. Her field of specialization is Software Engineering, System, C++ and Visual Basic. She is involved in handling various research & consultancy projects of Industry in the field of Business families of Ludhiana and Business houses of Punjab. She has contributed many research papers in national and international seminars. Recently, her papers have been accepted in the international conference titled “WEB Computing in Portland and an international conference at Hawaii, USA.

Sandhir Sharma is working as Assistant Professor with Punjab College of Technical Education, Ludhiana since 1999. He obtained his Post Graduation from Punjab University, Chandigarh. He has great interest in environment education and computer application. He has over 10 years of industry experience to his credit working with various industrial concerns. He has four years of teaching experience and has contributed and presented number of research papers in national and international seminars. He has undertaken number of researches and is actively involved in various consultancy projects. Recently he visited Bangladesh and was instrumental in singing of MoU with AIUB, Dhaka.
