Dr. Farhat Tabassum, Head, Department of History at Sir Sayyed College, Aurangabad, has based this book on her extensive research work on ulemas role in the country's freedom struggle. A curious scholar of history and historiography, she has published her articles and papers in various journals, magazines, souveniers and newspapers. She presented several papers at International and national conferences. At present she is busy with her project on revolutionary Movement in early 18th Century in India.
