Development Disparities in Mizoram is about the theoretical and empirical analyses of socio-spatial inequality in Mizoram. Coming together from a wide range of disciplines including geography, economics, political science and history, the contributors of the book analyzes various dimensions of development disparities in Mizoram. The contents, among others, include analyses of inequalities in agricultural development, human resource development, educational development, household amenities, and gender inequality.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Benjamin L. Saitluanga
Benjamin L. Saitluanga (b. 1982) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography & Resource Management, Mizoram University. He also taught at Government Saitual College, Mizoram for five years. He has studied in Delhi University, Mizoram University and Jawaharlal Nehru University. He was awarded both UGC and ICSSR research fellowships during his career. He has also published and presented a number of research papers at national and International levels. Presently, he is a member of various academic bodies including Geography Association of Mizoram, Urban Economics Association and Regional Science Association of India.
