Dr. Powel is widely recognized as one of the most inspired writers on the subject of Advaita, the teaching of non-duality. He takes us on a journey beyond the realm of ego, beyond the illusion of subject and object, good and bad, high and low, to the ground on which the manifest universe rests. This is where the mind and intellection cannot reach and which is beyond words. It discusses the 1 principle as well as the Maya Principle and Consciousness and a number of other related themes on the subject-matter. In this book, dr. Powell does a masterful job clearly indicating the path to where we ever have been. Dr. Allan w. Anderson, Professor Emeritus of Religious Studies, San Diego State University, says, “An approach to so difficult a topic as enlightenment is almost always made more lucid when presented in dialogue. These dialogues are not imaginary but literal verbal exchanges between Dr. Powel and his audience. They lend an immediate vibrancy to the matters concerned. Anyone who will take the time to entertain the scope of this book will come away moved to begin genuine self-enquiry. Those readers who have already begun this discipline will find the book an invitation and stimulus to an ever deeper self-examination.
