Discovering Latin America is an unparalleled effort to intimate the readers with some of the celestial places of the world, at the same time inspiring them to journey towards their own selves.  These is a hairline difference between a traveler and a tourist.  A traveler sees what he wants to see, while a tourist sees what he has come to see.  This book is an exploration of a new world as seen through the keen eyes of an eminent writer and an observant traveler, Dr. Kusum Ansal.  With perceptions of a traveler and sensitivity of a writer, the book goes beyond the boundaries of a travel book infiltrating into the territory of a beautiful literary piece.  The book is stylistically designed to motivate the readers to break through the fetters of monotony in their lives and flee to an alluring corner of the world.  This book will help the readers traverse some of the empyrean pieces of Central and South America.  All the countries reviewed in the book are simply unmatched in their elegance and gradeur.  The Central American Countries offer almost an infinite number of beaches for tourist enjoyment inviting them to surf, swim, snorkel or just relax in the warm, tropical sun.  on the other hand, South America is dotted with a wide variety of beautiful physical features such as the mighty Andes Mountains and the wild Amazon Rainforests to name a few.  The continent has a rich cultural and historical past, and still treasures the ruins of the ancient civilization of Incas in Peru.  The book is not merely a flat description but a reproduction of the time that the author spent in caressing the beauty of those exotic places.
