Dissent in the Land of Arab is an-in-depth analysis of the dissident movements in the Persian Gulf countries.  The present study attempts to probe the nature of dissent in the Persian Gulf countries case by case basis and specifically with country wise break up.  All the eight Persian Gulf countries like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, UAE, Iran and Iraq unfold the story of dissent hitherto unknown or little known to the people of the world.  The contours of dissent in the Persian Gulf Countries do not follow the linear path; or reflect any homogeneous out growth.  Here, dissent reflects a peculiar connections with the economy.  The anomalies of the rentier economy of the Persian Gulf countries have given birth to a new kind of political matrix.  Unlike the analysis of dissent in other political spheres, the book Dissent in the Land of Arab depicts a different kind of story.  No doubt 9/11 is a dangerous flashback.  But how far do we know about the core dissident activities in the Persian Gulf Countries-where does it originate? This book examines the metamorphosis of the dissent in the Land of Arab.  This is a document of dissident activities from home soil to exile.
