He was mainly responsible for sustained investigations and research into several less known communities and societies in Europe and South America. He has presented a number of notably successful papers at international seminars and conferences and has delivered lectures at various universities on the subject of his prime interest, i.e. the role of history and its heroes in social and cultural development.
