In this book Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar and Brahmanism the author has taken great pains in analysing the shortcomings in the studies of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and coming to quick conclusions as far as Vedic scriptures are concerned. The purpose of writing this book is to find out precisely where the Brahmins have failed and why they are hated. This difficult and controversial subject has been treated by the author as a modern and proud Indian free from the shackles of the caste system. The riddles in Hinduism posed by Dr. Ambedkar have been examined by the author as an Indian conscious of his rights and privileges in independent India. In the opinion of the author, the Brahmins should come out of hibernation. Not only should they read and write the scriptures but they should also delete verses of doubtful authenticity.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Q L Gautama

Q.L. Gautama was born in Kannauj (Uttar Pradesh) on 11 November, 1925 and acquired the name of Qanauji Lal. After obtaining a diploma in Civil Engineering, he served with the Railways as a Railway Engineer and throughout his tenure, he got more publicity because of the initial "Q" in his name. He graduated from Delhi University with Urdu as his main subject. He inherited Urdu from his father who was a Persian scholar and gained fluency in Urdu from his grandmother who spoke Taksali Urdu. The author is an admirer of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar but could not resist the temptation to differ with this "intellectual giant" because of his contempt for the Brahmins and Hinduism. He is a Vedantist and his spiritual Guru is Swami Rama Tirtha. "Khamkhanai Rama" (Urdu) is his gospel.
