The anthology is an updated study of Jhumpa Lahiri's fiction. Jhumpa's themes, techniques and magical art has been explored from various perspectives by serious scholars and critics who have earlier contributed to critical studies on diaspora writing and Commonwealth Literature. Jhumpa Lahiri is one of the finest among the fictionists of the world now. She is growing more popular day-by-day. Beyond the diasporic obsessions, she presents the human predicaments witnessed by the civilizations since time immemorial. As such the work is designed as a companion volume for the readers from varied backgrounds including teachers, researchers, students and activists.
