ABOUT THE AUTHOR Jagdish Mishra

Dr. Jagdish Mishra, the author of this book has been teaching history at Trust fund college, Bargarh, Orissa since 1991. He was born in 1968. He passed his B.A. (Hons.) in 1998 and M.A. (History) in 1990 and was awarded gold medals for both by Sambalpur university. He completed his M.Phil in 1993. He was awarded Ph.D. by Sambalpur University in 2003 on the thesis entitled, ‘LAND SYSTEM IN ORISSA – an epigraphical study (from CIR. 350 A.D. to 1110 A.D.)’. He has contributed a number of both research and popular articles to journals and magazines and participated in seminars and conferences.
