ABOUT THE AUTHOR B.V. David
Dr. B. Vasuntharaj David has 52 years of experience in the field of crop protection and toxicology. He obtained M.Sc. (Ag. Entomology) and Ph.D. from TNAU, Coimbatore. He was awarded the degree of D.Sc., from University of Madras fro his contributions on the taxonomy of the Aleyrodidae of India, Sri Lanka and Myanmar. Presently he is an International Consultant R&D (Safety Evaluation, Toxicology & Crop Protection) to companies from abroad. In addition he is President, Sun Agro Biotech Research Centre, Chennai and Excutive Director, Sun Agro Biosystem Pvt. Ltd., Chennai. He has to his credit nearly 300 research papers and authored/co-authored/edited number of books. He is a Fellow of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He is President of Entomology Academy of India and Applied Zoologists Research Association.
