In the Introductory part, there is editorial contributions on the Life and Works of J.K. Mehta and a synoptic view about the included articles and a Note by the Editors Prof. Prahlad Kumar and Prof. Jiwitesh Kumar Singh. The volume also contains a Foreword by the IEA President (2003-04) Prof. Raj Kumar Sen. It is expected that this volume will highlight the current relevance of economic ideas of Prof. J.K. Mehta, one of the most original economic thinkers of India.
