Dr. Prahlad Kumar is Professor of Economics, Allahabad University. He was the Chairman of the session on 'Economics' of Prof. J.K. Mehta' in the Thiruvananthapuram Conference of the Indian Economic Association. He is also the General Secretary of the Bhartiya Arthik Shodh Sansthan and Managing Editor of Varta.
